-NOTICE - Rising 9th graders count as HS; Rising 5th graders count as MS for ALL EVENTS (except UM ARMY & BIG
HOUSE)

- Pharr - Mission trip in the Valley; a mostly-food mission; gleaning fields; dig irrigation ditches; VBS, feeding program for youth; going with Dickenson UMC (completed 8th - 12th graders) - Taking church vans for trip
- UM ARMY - Mission trip for Completed 9th - 12th graders; work on homes where people can't physically or financially do the work themselves; signups extended through May 8. In The Woodlands, TX.
- BIG HOUSE - Mission trip for Completed 6th - 8th graders. Repairs to needy churches and nonprofit organizations (mostly painting and yard work). In East Bernard, TX
- 6/8 - No UMY because of church-wide Summer kickoff - FREE FOOD
- Youth Trek - For the youth working at VBS in the morning. In the afternoons, we will have activities. Signup youth now for VBS volunteer and youth Trek. (Rising 6th graders can be students in VBS and then participate in Youth Trek in the afternoon). Cost per student is $15 above and beyond the cost per daily trip.
- Michael Ervin is overseeing Confirmation activities for 2009 for the time being.
- UMY - last Sunday of every month is a "MEAL."
- Youth Week(End) - both HS & MS in another town - details TBA.
Bellaireyouth.tuggle.it - Sort of a "social network for youth" that allows Michael Ervin to keep in touch and know more about every student and parent that registers. Parents are free to sign up as well. Central communications hub.
- Signups online for Parent Volunteer Opportunities.
- Online signups will be encouraged more and more with the advent of the new Information Center (in front of parlor)
