Children’s Summer Camps
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is five days of energetic explosion for children. It is typically the first full week of June after Houston ISD is out for the summer. The cost for this 9-Noon event free, though donations are accepted. Their experience includes learning Bible stories, participating in a daily craft, snacks, drama and worship times. They also get a t-shirt that they decorate during the week and a CD of the music to take home. VBS is open to children ages 3 (with a parent volunteer) to children who have just completed the 5th grade. We also accept volunteers to help coordinate, and they too must fill out a registration form either online or at the front office of the church. Power Camp
Power Camp is a program offered by Bellaire UMC for children to explore their world, tap into their God-given creativity and make new friends. Four sessions are available to attend to accommodate differing summer schedules and include field trips to the Evergreen Pool and to other various kid-friendly activities.
