Communications Committee
Formed in April of 2006, this ministry’s purpose is to enhance and improve all communications on behalf of the church, its staff, its ministries and its members. This includes web site design and content, written communications for both print and electronic communications, advertising, public relations, video and other communication vehicles. We are always looking for new members. Worship Audio/Visual Team
Do you love worship but don’t play an instrument? Do you love worship and have an ear for sound or a mind for computers? Then we have some jobs for you. Our A/V team at Bellaire UMC has two areas of expertise to assist in worship. Our audio team runs sound for our worship services. Knowledge of running sound is helpful, but not required. Training is provided and professional workshops are attended to assist you with this ministry. Interested? .
Our Visual worship ministry team works on the set/altar design for worship as well as mans the video projection software used in worship at Bellaire UMC. We currently utilize ProPresenter 4 software for worship. This group in the ministry enters/sequences/runs the “show” for each Sunday worship service. Training is provided and presenters generally are asked to volunteer one Sunday per month. Interested? .
