Education and Discipleship
The congregation’s children’s program is growing through the Sunday school and worship service. The congregation was able to send nine children to Power Camp this summer. The adult education program includes a bi-weekly Bible study and both an English and Tagalog Sunday school class.
The congregation has also joined the greater Bellaire UMC family in a joint class, “Jesus, Wesley, & the Poor,” which explored ways to reach out and care for the poor and oppressed in our midst and abroad. The adult program has also included studies in spirituality, stewardship and revelation.
